Export Cityscape Pro objects
« on: March 11, 2020, 02:24:13 am »
Hi

Is it possible to export Cityscape Pro created objects into other 2D software, like Lumion, Twinmotion or UE4

Would I just collapse the created parts?

Yes, you can export the geometry to other software, you might not even need to collapse the objects, just use *.obj or other format during the export process, however, exporting Cityscape Pro materials and textures would not be an easy task.

It would be very helpfull if your plugin could create textures of all different areas, like the streets and pavement for each object so that it is easily possible to export a scene to a an external software like  lumion if needed!

Thanks for the feedback. We are working on a similar feature that allows you to export Cityscape objects with textures. Hopefully, a version with this feature will be released next year. The main challenge that we are trying to overcome is that Cityscape Pro is using lots of procedural maps in 3ds Max, that are not available in other software products.
